Lisa Underwood Harkey is the founder and owner of AlaCoast Insurance Agency, which  opened in 2013 in Mobile, Alabama. Applying her years of insurance experience to her own business was a challenge she was ready to take on. Three years later, she added a second location in Saraland. Plans for further expansion into neighboring communities is part of her long-term business plan.

Putting together an incredible team has been one of her greatest accomplishments. Under her leadership long-term employees have grown into insurance professionals.

When she's not working, Lisa enjoys traveling both in the United States and overseas. She is working on her travel bucket list with plans to visit Italy. 

She is a native of Theodore, Alabama and grew up loving outdoor sports including hunting and fishing. She has an appreciation and respect for the climate along the Gulf Coast. This firsthand experience enables her to offer the best insurance coverage to her local clients.

As a mother of two and grandmother to a lovely granddaughter, it is important to continue to be a role model for her family. Welcoming her customers as she would like to be received is  paramount to her success.
